HOT, HOT, HOT!!

Wow, it is HOT in Virginia Beach!
A tenant in one of the homes I am the property manager for in Great Neck called me at 5:20 p.m yesterday (Saturday), to say that her air conditioning had stopped working. I stopped by her home and found that the air handler in the attic was working, no condensation issues there, but was blowing warm air. The outside unit of the heat pump was not working, I checked the breakers then determined we needed to call an expert.
I had an HVAC technician to the property before 10 p.m., less than 5 hours after the tenant reported the problem (on a Saturday night, on the hottest day ever!)
Thank You American Mechanical - for prompt service at a fair price.

What a fantastic property manager....I would really appreciate your taking care of my tenants like that!
Thanks Yvette. Hopefully tomorrow we will see relief - it is only supposed to be in the lower 90s. -Mark
Mark: Kudos! It's obvious you have a great rapport with some excellent service providers.
Hello Tish, Yes and sometimes a little luck helps, too.
Mark,
Way to get it taken care of. We've got fabulous vendors and that is key in this business.
Love the license plate! Very creative.
All the best, Michelle
Thank You, Michelle. Sometimes people say "what does 'Ent It' mean"? This gives me a great opportunity to let them know what I do (and hand them my card). -Mark
Great Story! I have talked residents "into AC" by checking the breakers FIRST and had portable AC units delivered when a part had to be ordered.
Where an individual landlord/property owner may be a phone call in a rotation, I have my HVAC company owner's CEL phone #.....I give them thousand$ of $$$ each month * they come when I call!!!
Tenants relocating here have to get used to NOT having A/C. Yup....even my houses renting for $5,000/m don't have it. It takes some convincing. Espcially when we've hit 108 here.
